OK, firstly, is the code the property of the client? If so, the client can
get it, but not a competitor... unless the client agrees to pay for you
giving your technology to a business competitor...

As a recommendation, I'd say to give them encrypted code if it's insisted
upon that they get the templates on their server

Next, mention that if they want to use FrontPage to propogate the CF
templates, that FP will eat your CF code (as M$ don't think that there are
any other languages than ASP) - if they want to do this, they can fix the
code that they break - it is their fault that it's broken it by using FP

If they want to try to pick holes in your CF code, it's be amazing since
they probably don't know CF, so how would they know good CF from bad CF?

We have it in our contracts that we own the source code, but they own the
look/feel of the website and the relevant imagery, so if they want to, they
can keep the site the way the users are used to, but if they want it
rebuilt, then the guts will have to be done by another developer...
