Hi Phillip,

I am sending this to you directly since I don't think the entire group needs
to read this.

I am in the process of doing my first contract for an outside website. Most
of my work has been as a
contracting developer for another company which designs the websites. I am
now embarking on my first
ever sole contract.

I have a contract that I have gleaned together from different sources, about
the only part I am not happy with is
the copyright area, basically I want to have in there the same thing you
have regarding, I own the source code, they own the look and feel.

Would there be anyway for you to send me a copy of just that language? I
would really appreciate it.

Thank you

We have it in our contracts that we own the source code, but they own the
look/feel of the website and the relevant imagery, so if they want to, they
can keep the site the way the users are used to, but if they want it
rebuilt, then the guts will have to be done by another developer...
