thanks, i thought as much, but wanted to get a second (or third) opinion....
i have told the host as much, but let's see if they take any heed to it...
the thing i am worried about is if CF did not cause this, reinstalling CF is
not going to solve it, they are not only wasting their time, but overlooking
what is the real problem...which down the road could render the server down
for quite some time while they figure it out.
