Add-ons can make a lot of sense if they don't affect the basic functionality of the core product and they cover that kind of features that aren't required by the vast majority of the user base. To get an example, I would be more than happy to pay 50 bucks to get a CFX that add support for zipping files to CF Server, but I don't think adding it to the core product and increase its price could be a good idea. Of course the extensibility of a product shouldn't be an excuse to deliver something limited in functionality. ---------------------------- Massimo Foti [EMAIL PROTECTED] Team Macromedia Volunteer for Dreamweaver www.macromedia.com/support/forums/team_macromedia ---------------------------- ______________________________________________________________________ Get Your Own Dedicated Windows 2000 Server PIII 800 / 256 MB RAM / 40 GB HD / 20 GB MO/XFER Instant Activation · $99/Month · Free Setup http://www.pennyhost.com/redirect.cfm?adcode=coldfusionb FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-talk@houseoffusion.com/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
