I realize you weren't insulting me and I apologize. Please understand that I don't work on projects that cost 100's of thousands of dollars. My customers and I have modest goals. I want to efficiently produce clean, maintainable applications that meet specific needs. A consultant asking $250/hour and claiming a need to do a full server-under-load analysis would be viewed as an overpriced blowhard.
