Most people don't upgrade right away due to that fact. Not sure what
everyone expected, but CFMX is a new release of codebase and sure, there's
going to be issues. Look how long it took for CF5 to smoke... ! It might
be best to wait until CFMX2(?) comes out -- I haven't had any problems
with it and it's smokes for me and ... that's because I've been writing
code geared towards CFMX, nothing based on CF5.

Now, at work... if my boss were to tell me that we're upgrading to CFMX,
I'd cough a little and cross my fingers and hope nothing breaks.
Especially since the place where I work is too small to really care about
QA (sad isn't it? :P and I harp on them /all/ the time about it, but QA
isn't important in their eyes. Anyone looking for a 3 year CF
developer?).

~Todd

P.S.: This isn't a shot against anyone, this is... "perhaps staying with
CF5 until the dust settles" suggestions. Not everyone needs to be
bleeding edge (it's nice, but dangerous, that's why it's called bleeding).
