But tag insight is different than snippets. The snippets, in the demo, shows pre-built blocks of code with empty values. The tab key cycled between the values. If you use common blocks of code with the same attributes, but with different values, then a snippet is perfect. Tag insight, as you mention, requires you to type each attribute, then the value. Of course, we are only talking about less than a dozen keystrokes, per tag, but any productivity-booster is OK with me. Hey, let's call it "Tab Insight"! ;-) M!ke

It's configurable in each, to often even letting you set the time delay before it pops up the options. Many never notice it if it's disabled or set to a "long time", like 2 seconds. It's called "tag insight" or "function insight" (as yes, it works on function arguments as well). Hope that's helpful (to you or someone else). /Charlie http://www.carehart.org/blog/ ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jean Moniatte Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 12:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [CFCDEV] RE: DW vs Eclipse By "Tab Editing" I meant the feature that allows you to type e.g. cfquery, hit the TAB key and have the rest of the code completed. Similar to snippets, but much easier to use. I guess this list is probably not the good place to start a discussion about web accessibility. Thanks all, I just wanted to thorw in my 2 cents with the hope that developers in the same situation/mindset as me would benefit. Jean Moniatte You are subscribed to cfcdev.
