Sure enough, 14th January has arrived and when I launched Chandler Desktop this evening, it did something other than the norm. I noted the start dialogue doing something with records (took not too much notice, I had Safari in foreground at the time). Now, past 23:00 14th January, I find: * Chandler Desktop running with its Chandler window at a smaller than usual size (presumably, the OOTB size) * 'Welcome to Chandler' triaged to now, scheduled for earlier today (12:00—13:00) * binary_backup.tgz created at 22:22, modified 22:23, 42 MB * backup.chex created at 14:31, modified 14:32, 10.4 MB. Considering the log extract pasted to <http://pastebin.ca/1308521>, the creation/modified times of the files do fit the guesswork; I quit from Chandler Desktop normally around 14:32: > 2009-01-14 14:32:17,939 osaf.dumpreload INFO: Exported 38343 records from > 13079 items then the next launch of the application caused it to import from backup.chex: > 2009-01-14 22:23:18,177 application.Application INFO: Auto-restoring from > backup.chex -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Understanding-and-housekeeping-weeding-%281%29-binary_backup.tgz-%282%29-backup.chex-%283%29-date-time-stamped-.chex-files-%284%29-__repository__.*-directories-tp2109816p2159901.html Sent from the Chandler users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list unsubscribe here: http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/chandler-users Chandler wiki: http://chandlerproject.org/wikihome
