finding: click All, then click Dashboard. 

Whilst (we hope) you should find items that were removed, it may be
impossible to know the collections from which they were removed. 

If users have more than a few collections (here for example I have
forty-five), or if collections are shared, then the effects of loss from
collections can be frustrating/ugly for all concerned. 

Mark's scream to list — in his situation, I'd do the same (!) — has helped
me to see bug 12332 in a different way (possible relationship to bug 12747).
