Running parallel to the thread re: a notional new quick entry application, <http://n2.nabble.com/-tp3100144p3822970.html>
Another possibly crazy idea: * might any microblogging client be extended to post (quick entry) to Chandler Hub? With <http://status.net/wiki/Apps> (highlights: <http://tinyurl.com/yjvy6mo>) as a starting point, I tried just a few applications. Of those few, I find http://twhirl.org/ twhirl most pleasant. More importantly, I suspect that co-workers will find twhirl easy enough to use (for 'fun' of use, the benchmark that I have been given is the AIR-based Yammer application). There's also open source http://getspaz.com/ Spaz but the UI is probably too geeky for my co-workers. Other apps that I have kept in my Dock include qTwitter and Mac OS X-only Afficheur. Is any of this worth pursuing? Or should efforts be focused on a quick entry application/widget that is for Chandler Hub alone?
