I don't know anything about the technical side of things, but Twhirl, as good as it is, is unfortunately probably going to be "discontinued" and replaced by Seesmic desktop. I think evan on identica kind of answered the concerns I would have with using a microblogging client to add tasks and notes to Chandler, which is the privacy of the data. I don't mind entering some stuff "publicly", but not all. So how do you mange that? (and is taking care of two accounts an easy thing to do?) I could imagine some kind of jabber/XMPP (?) interface thing that does that though. Something like your hub account would be assigned a jabber id and you'd message them with notes and tasks.
