Since realising that Adium beta support for StatusNet and Twitter is so
good, my thoughts are shifting in the direction of Adium and Pidgin.

Without looking at commits/stats etc., I suspect that some recent effort has
focused on interop between Chandler Desktop 1.x and Mac OS X 10.6, Chandler
Hub and iCal 4.x, Chandler Hub and iPhone OS 3.x.

If the 'hub were to support a "standard" RESTish API, say based on Atom,
then acess to many other tools becomes possible.

I have _no idea_ how the Chandler data model might map onto the Atom API.
Not that it couldn't, i've just never looked into how that might work.

I know there was some talk about work being done to the 'hub to support a
more friendly web/RESTish API. I don't know what the current state of that
effort is.

1. Re <http://tinyurl.com/googlewave-chandler-007> I suspect that a
relatively simple widget to post (alone) to the Hub will most easily
realisable.

2. The idea of adding comparable support to Adium is appealing. Something
like,
* each collection on the Hub represented in the contact list of Adium
* write to that contact = simply post to that collection
* (no real wish to see 'within' a collection)
-- but I don't know where to start, I don't know whether a development for
Adium could be ported for the benefit of Pidgin (or vice versa), etc..

3. Re: RESTish, let's have a dig around, see what we can find.

Best,
Graham
