Does anyone know of a set of unicode characters that would point to the 4 directions by being located in that direction of the character -- dots would be perfect if they could be placed near the margin of character rectangle. I have found arrow symbols 2190-2193, but I want to superimpose the symbols on the letters NEWS and the overstruck arrows partially obliterate their letters.
