What fun. Shapecatcher is great. First off it clarified that I misunderstood the Braille pattern from unicode.org because there are no white circles. And it pointed me in directions I would not have imagined. I was most intrigued by the "Spacing_Modifier_letters" as in
arrow = @"\u02F0\u02F2\u02EF\u02F1"; but they do not work for me because of their size and position relative to the letters NESW.
