I moved to Linux a few weeks ago. I'm indifferent to the the lack of DOS
compatibility in Vista, but my decision definitely was affected by the
direction Microsoft is pointed, and how Vista makes that direction crystal
clear. The J console isn't so nice as the one I became used to under Windows
and there are lots of loose ends to pick up, but I'm not regretting finally
making the switch.

found in programming languages can be effectively
combined, in a single coherent language, with the
advantages offered by mathematical notation.
