OK, I've been lurking long enough. I have a 72 Malibu, Automatic TH350 trans., and the shifter is 1 gear off (neutral is reverse, drive is neutral, etc.). Can someone point me to information on how to correct this? Is this a hard thing to fix? It's not a BIG deal, just annoying, and it has the potential of being dangerous. I don't know a whole lot about cars, but I'm not afraid of trial and error. Thanks in advance for any help. I've only been reading the posts for about 3 weeks and I have learned a LOT.
