Bill Is it a column shift car, if so there is a small piece of wire with a small clip attachedto the steering column with a screw. The easiest way to get ate it is to set the parking brake and drop it into 1st gear, loosen the screw and slide it either down until it matches the gear, then tighten up the screw. Keep in mind this is for a column shift car.
