Hey Tom, maybe you can provide a model for me. I am talking with a machinist here in NY about making some panels & emblems that are thus far not available. I know that this is a common area for rot, so maybe it would be a worthwhile investment to run off 500 or a thousand replacement panels. That "under the window" panel is available for the El Caminos, but I assume not for the Chevelles. I'm sure you looked into it. Maybe it's time somebody started making them.   John Nasta Old Car Network http://oldcarnetwork.com     -----Original Message----- My 69 has the exact same problem.  There are no repro deck panels for it unfortunately, so I had to fabricated some pieces from sheetmetal and weld them in place of the old ones.  Those vinyl tops get ya everytime!!  THe lower corners were totally rotted away, along with a good portion of the deck surface.  Alot of times the part of the 1/4 panel in that area is rotted out as well.   Tom
