Acid dipping will get in every nook and cranny and remove EVERYTHING. Rust, grease, paint, sealer, etc. But you get back virgin looking steel. They bake it in an oven to melt and loosen everything then dip it and then it is run through a neutralizing bath. Just had mine done and I couldn't be happier with it. The solid floors I thought I had...... well their not so solid. I have to replace two small sections in front. Right where the air conditioner was. I had a Mustang media blasted once and it turned out to be a nightmare. It will punch holes in weaker metal even if there are no holes there now.
