From: Michael Pell As you're looking, be sure to factor the 1st gear ratio, and the final gear ratio, and how they will work with your engine/cam/carb/rear gearing setup.  Both are pretty important.   Mike is definitely right about the above statement. What tranny you choose is dependent on a lot of other important factors. All else being equal and money not being the deciding factor,I would probably go with the Richmond 6spd for my particular combination but I can also honestly say I really like the Tremec TKO,too.
