ya, it does from time to time,
I was leaving a show one time, and the cooler fell on the controller.. let all of the air out of the bags..

the car dropped and ground to a stop in the middle of the street.. scary and embarrassing at the same time..

unfortunately, the floor supports sit lower than the frame and crossmember, so they're the first thing to hit, especially on a crowned road..

That's a good one, but John's original story was not actually
sarcasm, but a joke. For that you need something like:

           "The written material above is a JOKE.
                     Pronunciation: 'jOk
                     Function: noun
                     Etymology: Latin jocus;
                     1 a : something said or done to provoke laughter;
                     especially : a brief oral narrative with a climactic
                     humorous twist, usually misunderstood by Germans.

By ze vay, does your Impala really scrape ze pavement? Dot must be
very hard on ze underparts of ze vehicle. Not zo smardt.
