On my last Chevelle I ‘shaved’
the door handles and that worked somewhat but I never left the car alone for
any length of time anywhere either; plus it was pretty well known and a custom
so it wasn’t your ‘normal’ Chevelle. On another one I had
with electric fuel pump I had a separate pump on/off switch. I had someone
steal the car from a parking lot one time and they got about half a block
before they ‘ran out gas’ and abandoned the effort. From:

On Behalf Of Larry Shouse What are you all doing to protect your Chevelle while out
and about? Security systems? Fuel shut-offs? Electrical cut-offs? Hood locks? Steering Wheel locks? Thanks for your response, Larry Shouse |
