Rick, I believe Dan has the right idea. My two year old HEI quit intermittently and replacing both coil and module cost less than $35 at partsamerica.com and took less than an hour to install. Rick, sometimes it is cheaper and saves time to buy a mew module and coil and try them separately on the car. If one or the other is bad, you will find out. If not, you can just return them.
