It is genetic. Somewhere in the line are longer legs. There is no way of guaranteeing one way or the other, since there is always a chance of a throw back to an earlier generation, but the best thing to do is get pics! Of course you gotta demand to either see the parents or pics of the parents, but also try for pics of the grandparents.....the further back you can go without seeing a certainly quality, the better chance the quality will not appear.....but again, no guarantee.
