No one took it as an offense:-) It wasn't that you were mis informed, per se, The reasoning behind the advice is sound (you don't know what your getting) but you can face that with any type of advertisement. If you wish to buy a pup, the best thing to do, after you see one that catches your heart, is to get to know the breeder, check them out, check their dogs out, if possible, speak to others who have bought from them, ect. In other words, get to know as much as possible about any dog before you buy it, no matter where it is advertised :-) Marsha
