It is a cute little metal one. I will try a different bowl and see what he 
does. Thanks for the tip! It's not too tall for him, though. It's little, like 
a cat bowl. 

We went to the vet today and she also thinks he is a chiweenie. It's funny, I 
actually originally wanted to buy a chiweenie before I decided to get a shelter 
pup. I got just the dog I was looking for, I guess! 

Desi Lou is almost Merit's size! We weighed him at the vet and he's actually 
not quite 9 lbs, more like a slim, trim 8 1/2 :)
