Comment #65 on issue 1028 by chu121su12: Do not stop downloads when closing the corresponding tab/window http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1028
Well, about the tray problem is actually up to developer. I didn't really mind if it's there or not. It's just my slight thought that you cannot add additional menu to the tray, instead making Chrome into download manager. Back to the closing all the tabs. For me, if I close Chrome, I'm not really done with my browsing. I left some tabs open (usually 4 to 7) so I can read them after reopening the browser again. Well I wouldn't want to use bookmark, since the tabs usually won't do any good there. Well, that's my habit though... That's why I need the restore session (now its OOT, huh ^^). If my last session can be restored before the download tab left alone, than it'd be alright. But I just cant help to think about the code required to do that task. I'm a programmer too --tough I've just started-- but I always confused when doing the UI & user response problem, since there might be so many variations among different users. I just think this is my best suggestion to maintain the download usability, while doing just some simple code to the browser. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
