I have to disagree with you here. I *do* use the Refresh button fairly
often (at least several times a week), sometimes to get the updated
version of a page, sometimes to reload a page that has taken so bloody
long to load that I've aborted the rendering.

Your suggestion is a good one, but I suspect that calling the Refresh
button Obsolete goes against the usage pattern of more users than just
myself.
