I haven't done this in a while, but I think this is a non-issue if
keyframes are properly placed at the transition between stills.  If
you place a keyframe for the camera setting of the previous picture at
the frame just before the transition, and another keyframe for the
camera setting of the current picture right at the transition, then I
believe you won't have any bad frames.

This is a slow process, so I try to avoid it if possible.  The
workarounds that Raffaella suggested might be quicker, but I haven't
tried them.

I don't think this is a flaw Cinelerra's logic.  In other words, I
don't think it makes sense that you can have two settings for the
camera at a single frame.  But I do think that the GUI could be
improved to make this a more friendly process as you suggested.
