Not quite. The Administrative Distance enables the router to decide which
route to enter into the routing table. That route, when it comes down to
OSPF and RIP, will be an OSPF route due to the lower (default)
administrative distance. However, this does not mean that "OSPF will be the
protocol in use". Both protocols will be active (do "show ip protocols" to
prove it) and utilising resources on the routers and the network.
