FYI: We actually use this- we run OSPF to do routing on the interface to
it's
neighbor routers and run RIP to advertise a default route to the LANs so
the UNIX workstations can find the router via listening to the RIP
broadcasts
with their gated daemons. On RIP we only advertise a default 0.0.0.0 route
with a 'ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 null0:' and then do a outbound route map on
the
rip router and just allow the 0.0.0.0.
