Another analogy:

CCNA is the goalkeeper rolling the ball out to the left fullback. A simple,
reliable beginning that sets up a future play.

CCNP is the center midfield (Lothar Matthaeus in his best years) taking
control of the pitch and making things happen while Klinsmann drifts in
toward the penalty area. It is the game at a more complex level, there are
more possible things happening, and the number of issues to be aware of is
multiplied several times over.

CCIE is Oliver Kahn kicking the ball from his own goal mouth, one bounce,
and it chips the opposing keeper, dropping into the other goal a full 110
meters away, just under the crossbar. Yes, it can be done directly, but the
more likely method of scoring a goal is to start the play from the keeper to
the defense, to the midfield, and then a skillful pass to the attacker who
materializes in front of goal.

One builds upon all that went before, the other attempts to do it all in one
bold attempt.

Ist Klar?
