Hi All,
Hope somebody can explain this error & circumstances under which this error
happens or may be acceptable. Router is functioning OK, some CRC, frame
errors on interfaces but generally OK. I am pretty sure its a 2503 router, 2
serial, 1 ethernet, 1 BRI, all interfaces are up.
Jun 22 05:40:33: %LANCE-3-UNDERFLO: Unit 0, underflow error
Jun 22 07:22:27: %LANCE-3-UNDERFLO: Unit 0, underflow error
I checked CCO & here is the explanation
Error Message: %LANCE-3-UNDERFLO Unit [dec], underflow error
Explanation:
The Ethernet hardware is requesting data faster than the system can supply
it. This should never happen unless a serious malfunction has occurred.
Recommended Action:
Contact Cisco Systems.
