Is installing a WIC and/or memory in routers typically a simple job or a
tedious, drawn-out process? I guess I'm looking for the horror stories...

Rob,
I've had the displeasure of watching a guy insert a sup. engine into a Cat.
5000. He failed to check the pins on the module, and the inside interface.
When he was met with some resistance, a humanistic "give it a little more
pressure " resulted in more than one bent pin. I retreived an ultra small
pair of needlenose from my car, but that only resulted in
a broken pin. This guy does this kind of job day in, day out. Somehow the
5000 was shipped to him with some pieces floating around in the chassis. I
believe the male interface was inside the chassis. I wasn't about to replace
him for a week after seeing that.
Moral: When you have something that exspensive in your hands...be
respectfull and logical.
HTH,
Dale
