You can check the status ISDN interface by typing
sh isdn status
ISDN BRI2/2 interface
Layer 1 Status:
ACTIVE
Layer 2 Status:
TEI = 64, State = MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED
Layer 3 Status:
1 Active Layer 3 Call(s)
Activated dsl 18 CCBs = 1
CCB: callid=0xE4D, sapi=0, ces=1, B-chan=1
ISDN BRI2/3 interface
Layer 1 Status:
DEACTIVATED
Layer 2 Status:
TEI = 65, State = TEI_ASSIGNED
Layer 3 Status:
0 Active Layer 3 Call(s)
Activated dsl 19 CCBs = 0
You should get what you see for ISDN BRI2/2 and not
ISDN BRI2/3 which means ISDN D-Channel is inactive
(line problem)
Next thing you can do is to check authentication
problem by typing
debug ppp authentication
debug ppp negotiation
then if you are connected via telnet then type
term mon
it will show you the debug activities, but if you are
connect to console port then no need the activities
are displayed by default
Hope this helps.
