1.  It can't create the file name because of the /'s you are using.  It
doesn't recognize that you're attempting to put it into a subdirectory...
My best advice would be to use a single Cisco directory, and name your
running-config file something like 12132000_2500running-config.  That way
you have the date and the model of router it came from.  Alternatively, use
the router's host name.  This standard permits you to save multiple copies
of your running-config files for easy reference - should you want to revert
to an earlier version or look up something you did previously.  It also
differentiates between your different routers - and you simplify
administration since you only use one directory.

2.  Use the 3COM product.  Many people have reported problems with Cisco's
TFTP product.  I think the most common complaint has been time-out errors
(or at least that's the one that comes to mind because someone complained
about that problem within the last 2 days).  Using 3COM's product will save
you LOTS of grief!

Are you sure that your tftpboot directory is /cisco on the machine? Is the
machine unix or windows? make sure the permissions are 777 if its
unix. Also, make sure you have enough room in your flash for the file. dir
should show you.
