Priscilla,

  You can allow a SPAN destination port to receive
data from the connected workstation. The command you
use to enable it is:

set span {src_mod/src_ports | src_vlans | sc0}
{dest_mod/dest_port} [rx | tx | both] [inpkts {enable
| disable}] [learning {enable | disable}] [multicast
{enable | disable}]
[filter vlans...] [create]

The 'inpkts {enable | disable}' is what you're looking
for. It does have a "feature" you should know about
in that it forwards traffic for the port's configured
VLAN as well as what you're monitoring.

See
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat6000/sw_5_3/cofigide/span.htm
for details.
