I passed the CCDA on Friday of last week. It was a very hard exam due to
the case studies and the scale of topics tested. I did not write everything
down as I was told to do, so I made it even more diffcult for myself. I
passed, but was not happy with my score. I used the DCN from Cisco Press
and the Exam Cram book. This exam is NOT like the CCNA, I had VAX, SNA,
AppleTalk, IPX, IP and a host of other questions. I recommend you KNOW the
topics Cisco lists on their website for the CCDA, in one way or another they
are tested. I purchased Test #1 for the CCDA from Boson and found it
provided very little help on the range of test questions and subjects
covered by the actual exam. Having passed the MCSE 4.0 exams and the CCNA,
I can tell you that this exam requires actual experience, not just a good
memory. It was the hardest test I have take so far, and until this point I
had given that honor to the Exchange 5.5 exam.

While not a huge fan of the Sybex books, this is what I bought since it was
half the price of the Cisco Press book at the time of purchase. I found it
adequate to pass the exam. However, I have heard better things about the
Cisco Press books, and in general, prefer Cisco Press over any other
publisher. Boson also produces a quality product and will assist you in
preparing for the CCDA exam.

Moreover which practicse exams are very close to real exam.... I know that
due to lot of case studies it is impossible to find any practicse exam which
is closer than real exam. But even in this case i you know any practicse
exam which is closer to your real exam than please let me know
