Being able to have the router do that would be cool but in the meanwhile I
have both a wave modem and an adsl modem and I use a Linksys "router".

The adsl does use PPPoE.

Using the Linksys means no client software installed on the PC or in your
case - router.

Installs in seconds, works like a charm.
