Hi Jonathan ,
Thanks for your reply ,
I am using the Cisco blue cables and I am also using the Cisco conector
on the serial port of my IBM compatible computer with Win98 , I can connect
and use other Cisco devices , ie Catalyst 1924 and Cisco 2620 with it and it
works fine , ie these devices are accepting my commands , the only prob is
with my Cisco 2610 , I have changed everything , ie the PC, the OS , the
cable , the connector , and tried it with all combinations , but it is not
acepting the input .
I am planning to buy a Smart Net package ultimately if it does not get
solved , but I wanted to know if there is any solution to this issue , which
could have arised to anyone else.
But does anyone know how Strap CTS high as mentioned on this page :
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/17.html
thanks again
