What are you guys talking about? It is highly unlikely that a Virus will go through the server as all messages are stripped of their attachments and converted to plain-text before posting. Plus messages that look like they could contain (or at one time did contain) viruses are filtered.
What could happen is someone catches a virus and the virus scans the inbox. Of course the Inbox is full of messages from this list. The virus then proceeds to send itself to everyone who has posted to the list and thus has a message in the client Inbox. Unfortunately GroupStudy can not stop it as the virus is never propagated through the server. One way to prevent this is to use the web discussion board to participate where a valid e-mail address is not required (in fact you have the option of putting any e-mail address you desire as your public address). That way, you can not be forwarded viruses - of course you also eliminate private e-mail concerning your posting.
