This underlines one of my major problems with NAC - they follow a business strategy when the vast majority (as far as I can tell) of businesses using the product are educational - where we have limited control over the variety of OSes we have to support, generally get them immediately, and end up bypassing NAC for those devices. That aligned with the lack of role nesting that makes granular work impractical, makes it virtually unusable.
