Gary, I tried your method but after I restored the image to a blank,
smaller hard drive, Windows 7 failed to start. Some part of the
original drive was there because Windows 7 was at least present on the
target disk, albeit in a damaged state. I didn't try to enlarge the
second partition to see if it would make Windows bootable. Any
suggestions?
