I had the same problem that a number of people on this list seem to have had
but it was comparatively easy to fix.  When I sent a request for help to
support they asked me for the support serial number on the card that came
when I purchased it.  I emailed the number right back and they located that
number and attached it to my copy of NCA.  I was able to download the
upgrade immediately.
