So you'd think, huh.  In Minnesota, you may be used to it, but a few feet
of snow in early December seems to have flummoxed our ISP, as they had
problems throughout the area.  Apparently both ATT and Verizon had routers
go down in the storm -- ask me not for a technical explanation, as I ain't
got one -- and this contributed to widespread problems locally.  Let me
tell you, almost no email access for two days -- painful symptoms of
withdrawal.
