I only meant to say that while I was still in diapers, this guy was actually writing code, and some of it was quite good (according to some sources that I trust). We get no where with the personal attacks. I have never met BG, nor do I particularly care to. I also do not care to call him names, nor do I wish any ill will. Really what I am about is focusing on the things that are important to me, one of which is this whole open source thingy.
I am also not saying that we should ignore MS, they do have the power to lock us out of own computers and our own data. We need to be aware of these dangers as well as the regulatory weapons that they wield. On the bright side, MS never seems to get a break. There are a lot of people keeping an eye on them (I wish the same were true of Apple, the media basically swoons over everything they do, no matter how stupid, crappy, or evil it may be).
