Anjana: When those of us who have always taken Geevec only & our body seems to be responding to it, however slow that might be, should we talk to our hem/onc about the possiblity of adding a low dosage of Interferon therapy along with the Gleevec. I have had five different Onc. since beginning my CML journey in Jan. 2004, and once I tested positive for Phil. Chrom. I was put on 400 mg. of Gleevec and nothing was ever discussed by any of them as to any other type of treatment. Would the Gleevec along with Interferon bring us to Zero that much faster? I guess I never stop to think of these questions whenever I visit the doctor & they seem so pleased by the test results and say things like "everything's still on track" or "it's going according to schedule", etc.
