Ricardo: I guess I am a little bit confused by the posts here......I think I understand what you mean....your friend has CML, but does not have the Philadelphia chromosome, thus how doe they treat it. Since that chromosome is what they look for in order to go on the Gleevec.
I've been a part of this group for some time now & I do remember there being someone on here talking about this.....can't remember for sure, but think it was their father that had it.
