I forgot to mention that Pete Shelquist from this list is selling me a used chute scoop, so I'll add that to the rig. Up until now, if the wind piped up, we had to just let the sheet fly and try to stuff the spin down the forehatch. The scoop should help me out with dousing, and maybe even allow me to fly the spin when single-handing.
Also, I DO have a fixed spinnaker pole; but I've never used it, and it's been living off the boat in storage for several years, as it just got underfoot. If anyone has a need for it, let me know -- I'd rather have a whisker pole for the sailing I do.
