Yeah, be careful. All rudder bearings are not created equal. On my
last boat, I just put a grease gun on the zirc fitting and pumped until
grease squirted out on the top and bottom.
On this boat that created a problem.

And, by the way, I haven't squirted grease in there since. It's been
ten years, and the rudder has been worked pretty hard. Last haul out I
resurrected Bruce Lee to give it a good kick, and Marilyn Chambers to
give it a good wiggle. No problems.
